Job Title LDC Solution Design Manager – Manufacturing Execution at Novartis (Contract through Magnit Global) Job Description Summary Accountable for design and development of SAP (S4 HANA)-based manufacturing execution processes, aligning solutions with business needs, maintaining regulatory compliance, and driving actionable insights across the organization. Major Accountabilities Design and build SAP (S4 HANA) manufacturing execution processes, integrating with production planning, MES, line management systems, PI Historian, ATTP, and other functions. Ensure solution design meets business and user requirements, aligns with architectural roadmap, and adheres to regulatory/control requirements. Collaborate with IT experts and cross‑functional teams to achieve integrated solutions. Prepare and run fit‑gap workshops, identify critical integration points, and provide effort estimations. Deliver project work within agreed time, cost and quality constraints. Ensure solutions are peer‑reviewed, documented, and signed off by functional leads. Oversee solution testing and quality standards. Champion standardization from a customization perspective. Maintain compliance with security and compliance policies (FDA, IGM). Collaborate with function and adoption teams, conduct workshops, and incorporate feedback from operations. Minimum Requirements Higher education preferred. Minimum 3 years experience in manufacturing execution, production planning, MES or related field. Experience in pharmaceutical production (Drug Substance Manufacturing and/or Packaging). Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently under pressure. Strong presentation skills; capable of preparing and running workshops and training. Excellent SAP knowledge. Fluent English (written and spoken); other languages are a plus. Desirable Requirements Six Sigma knowledge. Project Management skills. Good knowledge of GMP regulations. Skills Desired Continual Improvement Process, Cost Reduction, HSE Knowledge, GMP Knowledge, Leadership, Lean Manufacturing, Learning & Development, Manufacturing Processes, Operations, Productivity, Risk Management, Root Cause Analysis, Six Sigma, Technology Transfer.
