As Head CCO Strategy & Project Management, your primary responsibility is to provide ongoing strategic support to the CCO and the leadership team, as well as to independently lead high value and high complexity projects across a variety of areas and Platforms. This position is instrumental in facilitating decision-making processes, building strategic scenarios and options serving the CCO, SLT and Board, streamlining communication channels, and enhancing the overall effectiveness of the CCO office. This role will lead a team of project managers who will be allocated to the various projects.

Major Accountabilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide ongoing strategic support to CCO and the CCO leadership team.
  • Lead the strategic agenda formation for key meetings and manage follow-ups.
  • Lead and manage coordination for executive presentations to CCO LT, SLT, BoD, external events and other bodies. Research and develop content.
  • Lead, directly or through the team of project managers, cross-functional projects and initiatives, coordinating activities across departments, platforms and functions to drive operational excellence and achieve strategic goals.
  • Monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely execution and successful outcomes.
  • Act as a delegate for the CCO in key external and internal stakeholder events.
  • Act on CCO’s office tasks as requested, and all other ad hoc strategic projects as needed.
  • Lead a team of project managers, including recruiting, performance management, development, and coaching.
  • Key Performance Indicators include: Quality of work process (e.g. insight, timeliness, accuracy, key stakeholder satisfaction) and Quality of strategic input and advisory for decision-making.

What you’ll bring to the role:

Essential Requirements

  • BA / BS required, business concentration ideal but not required. MBA or respective education preferred.
  • English (preferably plus one other language).
  • Experience in consulting; overall 10+ years’ experience preferred, with broad experience (5+ years) in pharmaceutical or FMCG industry.
  • Proven capability to effectively communicate and collaborate effectively across a global, matrixed organization.
  • Strong and proven project management skills, certified in Six Sigma or Lean Strategies desired.
  • Excellent communication and synthesis skills.
  • Strong analytical capability.
  • Critical and strategic thinker with solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Exceptional Values & Behaviors with quality, compliance, and accountability focus.
  • Exceedingly agile and able to continually re-prioritize in fast paced environment.
