Private Label Solutions (PLS) leverages the best of the Expedia Group's partner-facing APIs and Template products to power thousands of travel partners around the world. As Expedia Group's B2B arm, the PLS mission is to provide its partners with solutions to fuel their growth.

PLS partners with businesses across a wide range of verticals, including global airlines, who remarket PLS rates to their travelers. Airlines can access PLS products in the way that best suits their business, whether that is a fully customized vacation-packaging site using PLS APIs, or an 'off-the-shelf' co-branded template solution offering. By providing access to over 700,000 properties across 250,000 destinations, we enable our wide array of global airline partners to supply complete travel solutions in the markets that matter most to them.

The Commercial Analytics Manager will play a vital role in providing commercially focused analytical insight for the global airline demand segment at PLS, to drive growth, increase site performance and foster strong connections with stakeholders. Working with a cross-functional team of stakeholders, the Commercial Analytics Manager will build compelling business cases for data-driven initiatives, manage proactive analytics projects, and act as a subject matter expert on airline demand data.

The ideal candidate would have strong analytical & technical skills, paired with commercial acumen and adaptable communication skills.

What you'll do:
  1. Highlight proactive opportunities to improve top & bottom-line revenue through commercial projects and site optimizations.
  2. Perform statistical analysis to measure impacts of new campaigns and initiatives on revenue, technical performance, and conversion.
  3. Create dashboards to monitor airline partner performance, visualizing insights for stakeholders.
  4. Build and deliver compelling, data-driven business cases that influence partners and internal stakeholders.
  5. Evaluate revenue risks for new product and technology initiatives, proposing solutions to overcome them.
  6. Build and manage relationships with a team of stakeholders, whilst becoming an airline demand data expert over time.
  7. Represent PLS Analytics team in stakeholder meetings, ensuring perspectives of broader Analytics team are communicated.
Who you are:
  1. At least 4 years' analytical experience in online travel, e-commerce, banking, or another data-intensive commercial environment.
  2. Firm understanding of revenue drivers and commercial environment.
  3. Good understanding of statistics with ability to apply to commercial problem solving.
  4. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex analysis and concepts in an easily understandable way for audiences with varied technical skills.
  5. Ability to independently manage and prioritize requests from a wide variety of stakeholders, solving the objective and not necessarily the ask.
  6. Strong SQL skills, with ability to write SQL from scratch, and good understanding of databases.
  7. Experience with data visualization tools (i.e., Tableau).
  8. Demonstrated skills in clickstream analytics, with experience in tools like Adobe or Google Analytics.

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $137,500.00 to $192,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $220,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
