Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity in our Legal Department. We offer the opportunity to become part of a young performing team, in a stimulating working environment combining a friendly, casual atmosphere with cutting-edge technologies and a great diversity of tasks.

As a Junior Legal Officer, you will be part of the Legal department. Among others, your tasks will typically be the following:

  1. Advise internal stakeholders on the legal aspects of the Bank’s projects, including innovative banking services and implementation of novel technologies, providing insights and risk assessments.
  2. Review, negotiate and draft contracts and/or any other documentation of the Bank with a special focus on crypto-assets, foreign exchange pairs (FX) and contracts for difference (CFDs).
  3. Take care of litigation matters or complaints.
  4. Prepare legal research on banking & financial law and monitor regulatory changes.
  5. Draw up, implement and review internal policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  1. Master degree in Swiss Law. Swiss bar exam is an asset.
  2. A first relevant experience (as a jurist/lawyer in the Banking industry, in a Big 4 or a law firm with focus on commercial law) is an asset.
  3. Excellent knowledge in French and English as well as working knowledge of German.
  4. Affinity with innovation and banking & finance law. Strong written and communication skills. Adept at collaborative teamwork while maintaining autonomy.
