This role requires a keen understanding of modern systems and operations, as well as the ability to build new systems and optimise existing setups.This appeals to youCollaborate closely with the development teams in the development of new systemsBuild new and optimise existing systems, ensuring they follow best practices and satisfy customer requirementsChallenge existing setups and drive system modernisationEnd-to-end engagement, from kick-off to production and continuous improvement of high‑availability services in the cloudDelivering high‑quality solutions focusing on reliability, automation, maintainability and securityOperate production system alongside other engineering teams, focusing on building and operating systems following DevOps principlesWork hands‑on with our tech stack: Azure, Terraform, Serverless functions, Kubernetes, Containerization, Windows & Linux, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Prometheus, Grafana, and LokiThis is youAt least 5 years' experience in cloud engineering or software development, at least three with a focus on cloud native technologiesStrong communication skills to build close relationships with the service delivery and the development team and transfer knowledge effectivelyTeam player mentalityExperience with Containerization, Kubernetes, a major cloud provider (AWS, Azure or GCP) and CI/CD pipelinesFamiliarity with DevOps principlesTenacity to question existing setups and push for improvementsExperience in scripting, Linux and Windows Shells, and cloud technologiesProficiency in English, German is a plusNice to have:Experience with common cloud native technologiesExperience in networkingExperience in monitoring and alerting (especially Grafana stack)Experience in building and operating multi‑cloud environmentsExperience in modern security best practices, security certificationsWe offer youFlexible annual working hours based on a 40‑hour week, with 100% employmentVacation entitlement: 25 days from the age of 20, 27 days from the age of 40 and 30 days from the age of 50Bonus system and extra‑mandatory pension fund contributionsVarious discounts (Health, Car, Entertainment and much more)Employee eventsWarm and international corporate culture based on respect and cooperationHere you can find more information about us as an employer.About UsHexagon is a leading provider of digital reality solutions and employs more than 24,000 people in 50 countries.
