What We Are Looking For:

A skilled developer to contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of a core Accounting system used across multiple global entities. This system is integral to financial operations and is closely linked with other critical business applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Software Development:
    • Design, develop, and maintain new features using C#, .NET, and PL/SQL.
    • Ensure seamless integration of the accounting system with other internal platforms.
  • Collaboration & Solution Design:
    • Engage with business stakeholders from Accounting, Treasury, and Finance teams to gather and analyze requirements.
    • Propose technical solutions that align with business needs and priorities.
  • System Support & Enhancements:
    • Provide ongoing user support, troubleshooting, and training to address operational challenges.
    • Identify opportunities for system improvements and contribute to their implementation.
  • Project Involvement:
    • Lead and participate in key projects such as:
      • Integration of newly acquired businesses into the system.
      • Connecting the accounting platform with external financial tools and services.
Skills & Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years in a software development role with a focus on business applications.
  • Strong experience in PL/SQL or similar procedural database programming (e.g., T-SQL).
  • Expertise in SQL with the ability to translate business needs into efficient data structures.
  • Hands-on experience in managing business applications, including change management and user support.
