We are looking for a skilled IT Application Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a critical link between business operations and IT, ensuring the seamless management and optimization of business applications. Your expertise will drive the efficient use of ERP, Data Warehouse, and Business Intelligence tools, while also enhancing automation and troubleshooting capabilities. This position is integral to aligning IT solutions with business objectives and delivering impactful improvements across the organization.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily functionality and performance of critical business applications, focusing on ERP, Data Warehouse, and Business Intelligence systems.
- Develop and refine Python scripts to automate workflows, boost operational efficiency, and address technical issues.
- Deliver advanced Level 2/3 support for resolving technical issues, collaborating with users and vendors to ensure smooth operations.
- Actively participate in IT and business projects, providing technical expertise for application integrations and enhancements.
- Work closely with business teams to understand their workflows, ensuring applications effectively support and optimize these processes.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience managing business applications, particularly ERP systems.
- Familiarity with Vertec is highly desirable.
- Advanced Python scripting skills for automation and process optimization.
- Proficiency in database management (SQL) and integration technologies (APIs, middleware).
- Strong analytical capabilities to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues.
- Deep understanding of business processes and how IT solutions can enhance operational performance.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
- Fluency in English; German is highly desirable.
