Overview

Are you passionate about language, detail-oriented, and eager to shape the linguistic standards of a dynamic company? Our 6-person Technical Editorial Department, led by Thierry Tchoumi, is seeking an experienced copywriter/editor to enhance our technical and marketing documents, refine internal processes, and contribute to our global communication excellence.

Responsibilities
  1. Proofreading and editing American English documents, particularly in the fields of technology and marketing
  2. Creating and maintaining an internal English style guide
  3. Defining a company-wide editorial process
  4. Building and maintaining an English terminology database
  5. Translating small amounts of text
Minimum Requirements
  1. A degree in Linguistics, Translation (German-English), or Communication
  2. Native or near-native proficiency in American English is essential
  3. Strong understanding of the differences in grammar, spelling, and language usage between US and British English
  4. Additional language skills, such as French or Italian, are an advantage
  5. Experience in proofreading or editing is beneficial
