Supply Planner

For our site in Cham, Switzerland, we are currently looking for a Supply Planner.

The Supply Planner is responsible for the end-to-end Demand & Supply Planning operations for the Pharma and Consumer Health Business Units in close collaboration with the different manufacturing sites in scope.

• Oversight of the planning activity for the E2E supply chain, maintaining the communication flow between the different sites (internal or external) of the network.
• Sharing the material / bulk requirement forecast with the sites.
• Responsible for the reconciliation of the Supply Plan upon input from the manufacturing site re. rough cut capacity planning.
• Responsible for monitoring production status vs. Supply Plans, anticipating potential issues, setting up priorities in alignment with key stakeholders, setting up contingency plans to ensure on-time and in-full delivery, and identifying root causes in case of delay to continuously mitigate risks.
• Responsible for timely and precise raw material purchasing placing orders to suppliers / customers planning to meet production / forecast demand.
• Responsible for the life cycle of the purchase orders, registering and follow-up.
• Monitors forecasts, and customer orders for unexpected changes and revises plans as required.
• Support cost reduction, lead time reduction, and inventory reduction programs with suppliers to support company goals.

• Bachelor of Science Engineer, Supply or equivalent by experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in supply & planning.
• Good knowledge of ERP systems SAP, JDE will be an asset.
• Very good knowledge in Excel.
• Analytical skills.
• Customer oriented, frequent contacts.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
• Lean 6 Sigma or APICS certification a plus.
