Our client, a global leader in both industrial and consumer products, with well-known brands in hair care, laundry detergents, adhesives, sealants, and functional coatings, is looking for a Sr. Automation Technician for a direct hire role in Geneva, IN.

This role will troubleshoot and maintain automated systems, program PLCs, and support safety, quality, and cost goals while collaborating in a team environment.

Sr. Automation Technician - Geneva, NY.Qualifications:
  1. 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing, providing support and installation.
  2. Associate degree in Controls or Industrial Maintenance preferred.
  3. Completion of apprenticeship or equivalent technical training required.
  4. Experience with SCADA, Rockwell RS Logix, AMSC, and PLCs.
  5. Knowledge of Ethernet, fiber optic systems, SQL databases, and pneumatic controls.
Responsibilities:
  1. Troubleshoot automated systems, including PLCs, A/C and DC drives.
  2. Identify root causes of issues and implement corrective actions.
  3. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on systems.
  4. Program and configure various types of PLCs.
  5. Support safety, quality, and cost goals while fostering a team environment.
