Start:1 November 2025AlpineAI is one of Switzerland’s hottest generative AI startups, specializing in trusted AI solutions for system-critical sectors.Your RoleAs a DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with our AI and development team to ensure that our services and LLM-powered applications run reliably, securely, and efficiently in production. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes. You will also set up monitoring, automation, and help integrate models seamlessly into production environments.Your ResponsibilitiesAutomate deployments of models and services in cloud and/or on-premise environmentsManage infrastructure (Kubernetes) and optimize for scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiencySet up monitoring, logging, and alerting for our systems, including performance tuningCollaborate with developers and AI engineers to apply DevOps best practices and ensure stable production environmentsEnsure infrastructure security and compliance (e.g., access control, data handling, certificates management)Document deployments, system architectures, and operational processesSupport troubleshooting, release management, and rollback strategiesYour ProfileSeveral years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar roleHands-on experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)Familiarity with on-premise DevOps infrastructureExperience with monitoring and logging tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana etc.)Structured, analytical, and well-documented work styleStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teamsUnderstanding of ML model deployment and model serving (e.g., TensorFlow Serving, TorchServe, MLflow) is a plusWhat We OfferFlexible part-time workload (50–80%) with the possibility to adapt your working percentage depending on personal needs and project phasesOpportunity to join an innovative, forward-looking AI startup with high ownership and responsibilityPotential for equity participation after the initial ramp-up phaseFlat hierarchies and close collaboration with experienced engineering and AI professionalsExciting challenges with global impact and the chance to help shape AI infrastructure from the ground upDo Not Apply IfYou are not fluent (professional level) in English & German.You don’t have permission to work in Switzerland.You’re unwilling to work from Zurich or Davos.Apply with your CV and cover letter, today: hr@alpineai.ch #J-18808-Ljbffr
