Responsibilities:

  • Track developments in the ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) regulatory landscape, identify necessary actions, and implement them in cross-functional teams.
  • Take charge of coordinating and overseeing sustainability reporting, ensuring compliance with disclosure requirements.
  • Drive the continuous development of the climate transition plan and carbon accounting, using data to support initiatives aimed at achieving our climate targets.
  • Lead projects in the areas of Sustainable Finance and Corporate Sustainability, collaborating with department heads and subject matter experts, and provide guidance to other parts of the organization on sustainability-related matters.
  • Represent the client at industry committees, associations, and interest groups.

About the Customer:

On behalf of our client, Swisslinx is seeking an experienced ESG Specialist to join their team, who will drive sustainability initiatives. You will collaborate closely to integrate sustainability objectives, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and provide transparent reporting.

Requirements:

  • Hold a degree in natural or economic sciences, with an added focus or further education in sustainability.
  • Have hands-on experience in ESG management within the financial sector, and you're familiar with the regulatory landscape in Switzerland.
  • Are experienced in independently managing interdisciplinary projects and gaining the support of diverse stakeholders for your initiatives.
  • Have the ability to simplify complex topics and are confident in communicating with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Possess a strong analytical mindset, are detail-oriented, and are comfortable working with data-driven approaches.
