Aufgaben
  • Sie halten für die Science IT die Fäden in der Umsetzung der Aktionslinie "UZH Next Generation Computing" zusammen.
  • Für die Themen "Secure Computing für die Forschung" und "Cloud CPU/GPU für die Lehre" evaluieren Sie universitätsinterne Bedarfe und skizzieren und evaluieren Lösungsvarianten zu Handen des Digital Strategy Boards, des Prorektorats Lehre und Studium und des Prorektorats Forschung.
  • Sie bilden das Bindeglied zwischen dem Digital Strategy Board, den wichtigsten Stakeholder:innen (Forschende, Dozierende, Studierende), sowie den für einzelne Arbeitspakete verantwortlichen Einheiten und tauschen sich eng mit diesen aus.
  • Als Manager:in behalten Sie Berührungspunkte und Abhängigkeiten zwischen allen Arbeitspaketen und Projekten innerhalb der Aktionslinie im Blick und sorgen dafür, dass Synergien genutzt und Herausforderungen gemeinsam gelöst werden.

Profil
  • Für diese herausfordernde Stelle suchen wir eine analytische und umsetzungsstarke Persönlichkeit mit fundierter Erfahrung in der Leitung von IT-Projekten, idealerweise im Hochschulumfeld.
  • Sie haben eine Affinität und vertieftes Verständnis für die Bedürfnisse und Umsetzung von Computing Services an Hochschulen, mit Fokus auf Lehre und Forschung.
  • Sie verstehen es, gewandt zu kommunizieren, mit unterschiedlichsten Personen zu kooperieren und andere miteinander zu vernetzen. Sie sind initiativ und offen.

Zusätzliche Kenntnisse
  • Sie kennen sich aus mit der Nutzung und dem Betrieb von Cloud Computing Lösungen und Cluster-Rechensystemen.
  • Sie haben Erfahrung in der Verarbeitung von besonders schützenswerten Daten zu Forschungszwecken.
  • Sie sind vertraut mit dem Einsatz von IT-Services für die Lehre.

Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse runden Ihr Profil ab.
