Position: Legal Counsel
Sector: Industry
Start Date: January 2025
Duration: 2 months+
Utilization: 100%
Location: Geneva (hybrid)
Salary: CHF 140’000-180’000

Tasks
  • Lead and negotiate Master Agreements (ISDA, EFET) and related trading contracts; ensure they align with company objectives and comply with legal standards
  • Advise on legal aspects of daily transactions, including mineral oil and commodity contracts
  • Assess and manage legal risks related to trading activities, including credit, market, and counterparty risks
  • Work closely with other departments (finance, risk, compliance) to align legal support with business objectives
Requirements
  • Fluency in English, German and French is a plus
  • Resident in Switzerland
  • 8+ years PQE, specifically within the energy sector
  • Strong experience with trading agreements, including ISDA, EFET, and similar master agreements
