About Our Client Our client is an established company in the LIFE SCIENCE industry based in Lucerne. As part of a large organization, the company offers a professional work environment focused on excellence and precision in ACCOUNTING & FINANCE. Job Description Oversee the prompt and precise recording of all accounting entries, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, Swiss statutory requirements, and IFRS, while safeguarding data integrity and accuracy. Contribute to the preparation of statutory financial statements and tax filings, including consolidated reports, and provide full support and documentation throughout the statutory audit process. Take an active and central role in coordinating both internal and external audit activities. Strengthen and refine internal control frameworks as well as accounting policies and workflows. Serve as the go-to expert for complex accounting issues and significant judgment-based assessments. Work closely with the Business Services Center to ensure smooth execution of transactional accounting tasks. Regularly compile and present financial updates, analyses, and performance overviews to senior leadership. The Successful Applicant Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with accounting standards (e.g., US GAAP, IFRS, Swiss CO/FER) Proficiency with ERP systems, ideally SAP, and advanced Excel skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across divisions and all management levels Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of interpreting financial statements Fluent in English; German is an advantage Proactive, adaptable to a fast-paced environment, and skilled in building relationships Professional demeanor with the ability to work independently and as part of a team What's on Offer Our client offers you: An exciting temporary position in a renowned company in Lucerne A professional and supportive work environment The opportunity to gain valuable experience in the LIFE SCIENCE industry Structured onboarding and development opportunities If you meet the requirements for this SENIOR ACCOUNTANT position, we look forward to receiving your application
