Your team

The Technology & Operations (T&O) division is responsible for designing and integrating a variety of software applications. These range from portfolio management systems and trading platforms to banking and corporate solutions. This division is pivotal in driving the Group's key innovations while maintaining business operations and advancing custodian and fund administration services.

As a member of the Finance team, you will carry out financial and management accounting tasks associated with T&O. This will include using cost attribution methods, conducting analyses, and benchmarking to offer valuable insights to management. You will provide support for management decisions, help to develop the T&O strategy, and contribute to ensuring T&O services meet the needs of business partners and stakeholders.

Your role

In your role, you will assist the Head of Finance with strategic and analytical initiatives, shaping the course and choices for T&O departments. You will also contribute to numerous projects aimed at driving ongoing enhancements and delivering financial value. As such you will be responsible for:
  • ensuring timely delivery of monthly financial results to the T&O Executive Board and business partners. This will involve supplying benchmarking, business metrics, and support for in-depth analysis to provide a better understanding of the cost drivers and volume metrics within the Technology & Operations (T&O) department;
  • making a meaningful contribution to the Group's quarterly/annual budgeting and forecasting processes, including business and/or financial modelling, multi-year planning, variance analysis and performance reviews;
  • developing a deep understanding of T&O cost allocation mechanisms to business lines and legal entities;
  • conducting specific financial and strategic analysis for the T&O Executive Board or the Group's senior management to identify trends, business and/or cost drivers and opportunities for improvement;
  • working with business partners and other Group stakeholders (including the business lines, Human Resources, Finance, Risk, Compliance) to respond to their needs and drive consensus on matters relevant to T&O;
  • driving projects associated with T&O operational efficiencies and helping to improve the Finance team's day-to-day processes and tools.
Your profile
  • A Master's degree, or equivalent qualification in Finance and other relevant fields;
  • Audit experience, as well as experience in financial strategy and planning, and cost allocation methodologies would be a plus;
  • At least eight to ten years' experience, ideally some of which is in the financial services industry;
  • Rigorous, well organised, with strong analytical and technical skills;
  • Sense of urgency, problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines;
  • Strong expertise in data analysis and financial reporting, and proficient user of presentation tools (Excel, Tableau, Microstrategy and PowerPoint);
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment;
  • Fluent in French and English (both written and spoken);
  • Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
