Application Responsible Flowable Platform for Compliance and Risk 100%

The Application Responsible holds the IT ownership of an application – in this case the Case / Process Management Tool from Flowable. From a change perspective, the role is responsible for translating business vision into technical capabilities. From an operation perspective, the role owns and manages product life-cycle and non-functional requirements. For this particular position, the Application Responsible owns the Flowable Platform, which builds the foundation for all Flowable Case- and Process-Management application of the bank. Applications running on the platform could be model based (Low-/No-Code) or Pro-Code. The Application Responsible of the platform supports and guides both.Solution Engineering / Requirements Management and IT-Change & Release Management:Work with Product Owners to define business requirements and to translate it to technical capabilitiesEnsure the adherence of the application design with standards and guidelines of Architecture. In case of gaps, the Application Responsible identifies and mitigates risks and debtsOwn the Flowable Platform on which applications run that are owned by other Application Responsibles, consequently define, manage and enforce the guardrails and principles that ensure stability, re-usability, maintainability and sustainabilitySupervise software development and technical implementation, ensure appropriate testing and decide with IT Service Owner on production readiness from IT perspectiveDevelopment of applications and enhancing of platform, take ownership of Solution Design, Security Concept, Interface AgreementResponsible for sizing of required development resourcesEstimate required change capacity and communicate to Product OwnersPlan the release of the application in strong collaboration with the according Product Owner and IT Service Owner within the Change- and Release Management FrameworkOperations and Application Management:Ensure sustainable, stable and maintainable applicationsOwn the technical roadmap of the applicationPerform platform, application and application component lifecycle managementBe involved in the 3rd level support for own application and platformAlign and plans required budget and capacity for 3rd level support, life-cycle management and change management with IT Service Owner
Proven Expert in Case Management and Business Process Management workflow notation CMMN and BPMNProven Expert with Flowable Components (Work, Platform, Control) – packaged or open sourceProven experience as a Java developer, with at least 5 years of experience in enterprise-level application developmentExcellent understanding of software architecture, enterprise architecture and development processesStrong proficiency in Java, with deep understanding of object-oriented programming principlesExpertise in Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, Java EEExperience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, Ajax, React and JavaScriptFamiliarity with relational databases (e.g.: Oracle, MySQL) and proficiency in writing efficient SQL queriesExperience with version control systems and build tools (e.g.: Gitlab, Git, Octopus, Bitbucket, Jenkins)Experience with Technology Stack: Linux, JBoss, XML, JSONExperience in cloud-based development and deployment using platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google CloudCapability to analyse complex problems related to the application and to provide solutionsGood presentation and communication skills and visualization of issues and solution in PowerPoint and VisioTeam oriented, flexible, proactive, autonomous, persistent, and sustainable. Able to listen and exchange ideasEducation BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Engineering or related fieldCertified Agilist and/or Scaled Agilist (SAFe) and/or DevOpsFluent in English and German
