Your role

We're looking for software engineers to:

• provide technology solutions that will solve business problems and strengthen our position as digital leaders in financial services
• design, plan and deliver sustainable solutions using modern programming languages
• providing technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new software projects and initiatives to support and enhance our existing applications
• conduct code reviews and test software as needed, along with participating in application architecture and design and other phases of SDLC
• see that proper operational controls and procedures are implemented to process move from test to production.

Your team
You'll be working as part of the Technology division of the bank based in Ticino. You will cooperate closely with various working profiles such as: Solution Architect, Software Engineers, IT Owners, Data Analysts. You will also have the chance to ensure the availability of the applications, follow the release cycle, help in the analysis of detected bugs and the planning of resolution actions. Your expertise
• bachelor's degree in in Computer Science or similar engineering domains
• proficient in both spoken and written English (C1)
• experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.)
• hands on experience with public cloud providers, with a preference in Azure Cloud
• good knowledge of common algorithms and data structures
• knowledge and regular use of enterprise container solutions: Kubernetes, Docker, Helm
• experience with RESTful services and Web Services
• dedicated problem-solver with good communication skills and the ability to cooperate with teams across different cultures and time zones
• in-depth knowledge of modern code management, build and deployment tools
• proficiency in CI/CD and GitOps tools
• interest and ability to learn and apply other technologies as needed
• dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives.
