Your Tasks Act as software project lead, liaise with project system engineers on a technical level to ensure correct software requirement capturing, traceability, and testabilityDesign, manage and implement to completion the software components (CSCIs) for ground-based training systems (back-end services for Windows and Linux platforms, as well as front-end multi-platform development and web applications)Produce of software tests, test procedures and documentation for the implemented software componentsPerform validation & verification activities in support to the V&V engineering teamCoordinate activities of a small group of software developers in the execution of a project With this you convince us Engineering degree in Software, Electronics, or Aeronautical Engineering with 5+ years' experience in full-stack, cross-platform development (Windows, Linux, Web)Proven experience leading software development projects and mentoring small teamsProficient in front-end development using JavaScript and HTML5 for web applicationsSkilled in C++ and C#/.NET for desktop and back-end development; experienced with Git for version controlExperience with ground-based training systems (CBT, LMS) and familiarity with avionics software standards (MIL-STD-498, IEEE/EIA 12207)Fluency in English (C1) both spoken and written, German knowledge is a plus as well as self-motivated, agile team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills What we offer A committed, international team and unique projects Flexible working hours and individual pension solutions Support for training and opportunities for personal and professional development Discounted meals in our staff restaurant and various discounts for employees Team events at which we celebrate our successes together
