About Our Client Our client is an international marketing and communications group with a strong footprint in Switzerland. Due to a team member's upcoming maternity leave and process changes, the finance department is seeking a hands-on Controller to support the Finance Director during a key transition phase. Job Description Prepare and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. Monitor and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning processes. Collaborate with internal teams to optimize financial performance and identify cost-saving opportunities. Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes within the ACCOUNTING & FINANCE department. Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations. Provide strategic recommendations based on financial data and market trends. Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries. Continuously improve financial processes and systems for enhanced efficiency. The Successful Applicant A strong educational background in ACCOUNTING & FINANCE or a related field. +6 years of experience in a similar role and environment Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis tools. Solid Excel skills; experience with MS Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems preferred, An in-depth understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Fluency in English, with additional language skills like German and/or French being an advantage. A proactive approach to improving financial processes and outcomes.
