We are recruiting, on behalf of one of our international clients based in Basel, a Junior to Mid-level Trade Compliance Analyst (80–100%).This is a great opportunity for a chemistry graduate or a compliance-oriented profile wishing to develop expertise in a global regulatory environment. This is a 2-year temporary assignment.Chemical Trade Compliance Analyst Your responsibilitiesAs a Trade Compliance Analyst, you will support the company’s global trade operations by contributing to customs classification activities, controlled substances management, and chemical trade compliance. This role offers the opportunity to apply your scientific background in a regulatory, international, and multi-functional context.Support HS/HTS customs classification for chemical productsAssist in the management of controlled substances and regulatory documentationWork with internal databases and digital tools to analyze data and prepare reportsCollaborate with cross-functional and international teamsContribute to ongoing projects and continuous process improvement initiatives Your ProfileBachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a closely related scientific fieldAbility to understand chemical structures and chemical nomenclatureComfortable working with data, Excel, and internal systemsFluent in English (German is a plus)Rigorous, detail-oriented, and eager to learnInterest in regulatory affairs, trade compliance, or international operationsThis role is particularly well suited for junior candidates or chemistry graduates who wish to transition into regulatory and compliance-oriented positions. jid9eac2faaen jit1148aen jpiy25aen
