Position: Maintenance Technician (Freelance)

Location: Neuchâtel, Switzerland

Duration: 6 months

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician on a contract basis to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance on a range of production equipment and systems, as well as troubleshooting and repairing any issues that arise.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance on production equipment and systems, ensuring they operate at peak efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and repair any equipment problems that arise, either independently or in collaboration with other team members.
  • Collaborate with other Maintenance Technicians and Production staff to ensure all systems and processes are running smoothly.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations in the performance of duties.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with new equipment and industry trends.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in maintenance in a production or manufacturing environment, with a preference for pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience.
  • Experience with pharmaceutical production equipment and processes is strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Fluent in English and French (written and spoken).
  • Knowledge of working in a GMP environment.
  • Skills in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
  • Experience working with bioreactors is a plus.
  • Ability to conduct investigations related to maintenance issues.

Team Structure:

  • You will be part of a team of 14 technicians, organized into smaller teams of two.

Location Requirement:

  • Candidates should be based near Neuchâtel or willing to relocate.
