Embedded Systems Engineer

In this role, you are responsible for the design and implementation of embedded software for wireless communication devices. If you are interested in joining an agile, versatile and expert team and in contributing with your passion and technical skills to the success of our business, please apply for the position.

Your tasks

  • Specification, implementation and test of wireless protocols and firmware on a resource constrained system
  • Programming in C/C++, Python, Assembly for highly integrated communication devices using event-driven framework and real-time OS
  • Active participation in the development of lifecycle activities at both HW and SW levels including specification, design, debugging, test development, continuous integration, formal verification, failure analysis and sustaining engineering
  • Use of requisite test equipment (e.g. logic analyzers, oscilloscopes) and programming for customization and automation of repetitive or timing sensitive test and measurement functions

Your profile

  • Master's degree in computer science or electrical/electronic engineering with strong programming skills
  • 3+ years of work experience in SW engineering
  • Excellent knowledge of C/C++ on resource constrained embedded systems and Python scripting
  • Experience in assembly is a plus
  • Working knowledge of RTOS
  • Knowledge of HW debugging tools, like oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc.
  • Used to work in teams (~ 10 people) with GIT version controls
  • Good team player; ability to adapt to a changing and dynamic environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Fluent in English; good knowledge in French and / or German is a plus
