B: Job description:

1. Elbit systems Switzerland is ongoing work on a large project with the Swiss army. We are now looking to recruit IT & communication technician in the company who will join the Field engineering & technical support team.
2. The Job includes technical support in diverse environment: Labs, tactical platforms, and factories.

C: Training & Experience:

1. IT & communication technicians receive on-the-job training from their supervisors or other experienced technicians. This training helps the technician learn the specific procedures and processes of the organization. IT & communication technicians can also receive training through internships. During an internship, the technician gains practical experience in a radio communications center.

D: Education & Requirements:

1. Preferred associate's degree or a post-secondary certificate.
2. 2+ years' experience of working on an IT Technician or other relevant position
3. Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
4. Preferred Hands on Experience with operation of Tactical IT and communication in Military environment (tactical platforms)
5. A+, Linux+, or Cisco Certified Network Associate accreditation advantageous.
6. Certification as IT Technician٫ such as e.g. CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified IT Professional٫ will be a bonus
7. Experience with routers and switches networks: OSPF, IGMP, multicast
8. Experience work with Linux OS: Centos, ALMA & Ubuntu
9. Experience operating OVS and networking on 2 & 3 layer

E: Job Responsibilities

1. Install, configure and manage software and their functions according to specifications
2. Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
3. Repairing or replacing damaged hardware.
4. Upgrading the entire system to enable compatible software
5. Performing tests and evaluations of new software and hardware.
6. Providing support to users and being the first point of contact for error reporting
7. troubleshoot issues with equipment and connections in tactical platforms and lab environments
8. operating measuring equipment for radio, intercom & communication systems in tactical platforms & lab environment
