Media Manager

Basel-Stadt

Your responsibilities
  • Media Strategy Implementation: Develop and execute media strategies that
    enhance visibility and support the strategic objectives of MCH Group in both
    Swiss and international media.
  • Regular Briefings: Conduct regular briefings for key media to foster strong
    relationships and keep stakeholders informed about the Group's initiatives
    and developments.
  • Messaging Coordination: Work closely with business units to ensure
    consistent and strategic messaging across the Group.
  • Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with industry and
    business reporters to enhance coverage and presence in relevant media
    outlets.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Coordinate with various business units to align
    media strategies with business objectives and ensure cohesive
    communication.
  • Corporate Communications: Manage and coordinate corporate
    communications including annual results and Annual General Meetings
    (AGMs).
Your profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or
    related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in media relations, ideally within an agency,
    corporate setting, or as a journalist
  • Exceptional skills in copywriting and capacity for speechwriting.
  • Engaging personality, capable of forging strong connections with media and
    internal stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to media relations
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
    simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Adaptable and responsive to the dynamic media landscape.
  • Proficiency in English and German is required.

MCH Group, with its head office in Basel, Switzerland, is an internationally active
experience marketing company. We organise around 90 of our own exhibitions and
guest exhibitions in Switzerland and abroad, including Art Basel, Swissbau and
Giardina. Parts of our group are active in Dubai, Hong Kong, North America and
Paris.
