About the Role

Are you an experienced DevOps leader with a passion for agile methodologies and technical excellence? Join our team to drive the delivery of innovative Wealth Management Software. You'll manage a team of DevOps engineers, collaborate closely with Product Management, and maintain high standards of code quality and automation.

Founded in Norway in the 2000s, Infront has grown to serve thousands of financial professionals, providing cutting-edge technologies for trading, connectivity, data feeds, financial analysis, risk and valuation services, portfolio management, and advisory. This acquisition promised to enhance Assetmax's capabilities and reach, marking a significant milestone in its journey.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Following agile methodologies as part of a collaborative team.
  • Reporting to the Director of DevOps and act as the deputy in their absence.
  • Managing a team of DevOps engineers, serving as their line manager.
  • Leading the technical delivery of Wealth Management Software throughout all phases of the development lifecycle.
  • Collaborating closely with Product Management and the Product Owner within your area of responsibility.
  • Establishing and fostering a learning organization.
  • Ensuring the maintenance of code quality, organization, and automation.
  • Operating within an international environment.
  • Working in an agile setup, utilizing Scrum, Kanban, DevOps, and Scaled Agile frameworks.

Who you are

Personal Skills:

  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience in people and technical leadership within an agile software development team.
  • DevOps mindset with skills to guide the development and operation of applications in the financial market environment.
  • Strong teamwork abilities.
  • English and German business fluent.
  • Solid understanding of modern software architecture and design patterns, particularly microservices.
  • Focus on quality.
  • Awareness of application security and privacy.

Technical Know-How:

  • AWS Architecture and Services.
  • Java and Spring.
  • Git.
  • Atlassian Jira/Confluence.
  • Linux/Windows.
  • PostgreSQL.
  • RESTful API.
  • Test-Driven Development (TDD) using JUnit.

Bonus Skills:

  • Domain knowledge of the financial sector, including financial protocols such as FIX/Open Wealth.
  • Quantitative finance.
  • Business analysis and requirements engineering.
  • Experience with Bitbucket.
  • Knowledge of Gradle.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Experience with Jenkins.
