ELECTRONIC SYSTEM DESIGN ENGINEER 100% (all genders)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work as an electronic system design engineer in a well-established Formula 1 racing team developing vehicle concepts/variants, considering the F1 2026 vehicle regulations that are currently obeying developed, with the focus on optimal PU integration
  • Design and package a wide range of electro-mechanical assemblies, interacting with the different engineering departments inside our team, complying with the agreed specifications and constrains.
  • Liaise with FE Analysts to ensure that components are analysed and optimized
  • Model and design components and assembly installations using 3DExperience electrical design package
  • Create 2D manufacturing drawings and supporting the manufacturing and build processes
  • Take care of the test bench installation
  • Follow reliability issues and successfully solve faults in an efficient and timely manner, as well as introducing continuous improvements
  • Support the design of off-car components and assemblies

YOUR PROFILE

  • University degree in engineering or equivalent
  • Experience in a similar role in F1/Motorsport
  • Good knowledge of wiring loom design as well as related problem solving
  • Good knowledge in composite and tooling design
  • Good knowledge on Catia/3DExperience
  • Experience using electrical schematics design packages
  • Professional English language skills
  • Experience in working inside a team with multidisciplinary engineers
  • Independent and precise way of working even under time pressure, highly self-motivated and result-oriented
  • Performance driven with winning mentality
  • A committed, proactive team player, flexible and innovative
