The Technology & Architecture Team is a leading group of senior professionals from diverse backgrounds. Together, we drive the development of an efficient, scalable, and secure payment system at TWINT. As we aim for growth, we are seeking a Senior Software Architect to join us in Zurich or Bern with the option for Home Office.

Your Impact at TWINT:

  • Lead the architectural vision and decisions within an application stream to shape TWINT's target architecture
  • Implement best practices for building resilient and scalable services
  • Drive the adoption of a modern event-driven microservice architecture
  • Address technical debt and propose strategies to reduce it
  • Assist in integrating new features into a nationwide payment scheme
  • Manage stakeholders across IT and business units
  • Stay updated on relevant technologies and their potential integration
  • Support the migration to AWS while maintaining operational efficiency
  • Ensure technical governance of projects and partnerships
  • Lead engineers and architects in your Value Stream as part of the Value Stream Leadership Team
Job Requirements

Your Profile:

  • Hold a university degree in computer science or engineering
  • Possess extensive hands-on experience in software development, preferably in the payment industry
  • Demonstrate substantial experience in Software Engineering in complex environments
  • Proficient in Java/Java EE and Git
  • Familiar with observability tools for monitoring applications and infrastructure, AWS knowledge is beneficial
  • Exhibit a hands-on attitude, responsibility, and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Show expertise in guiding technical teams through complex projects
  • Knowledge of agile project methodology
  • Have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
