Position Summary
The Market Access/HEOR GBDS Associate Director supports Market Access/HEOR activities by providing statistical expertise. In this role, they collaborate with HEOR and Market Access teams to identify and address data gaps, conduct analyses, and prepare data presentations to facilitate market access and pricing negotiations. With experience, the Associate Director may take a lead role in the statistical aspects of Market Access/HEOR activities for specific indications or assets. These individuals establish relationships with various stakeholders and contribute to the success of multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Expands expertise beyond biostatistics by researching medical and regulatory literature.
- Contributes to the development of strategies for successful market access and pricing.
- Participates in designing efficient clinical trials to support regulatory approval and market access.
- Interprets scientific questions and concepts for various audiences.
- Ensures the scientific integrity of analyses conducted for MA/HEOR.
- Communicates effectively with internal and external partners.
- Builds external relationships through collaborations and conferences.
- Reviews study documents and maintains quality standards.
- Engages in project teams and acts as a strategic partner.
- Advocates for team members and provides leadership and guidance.
- Assists in team development and performance management.
- PhD (6+ years) or MS (8+ years) in statistics or related field.
- Proficiency in programming and statistical analysis.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Expertise in clinical trials methodology and regulatory understanding.
- Demonstrates collaboration and leadership abilities.
- Effective at prioritizing and managing multiple tasks.
