The Airlock Secure Access Hub is Ergon's security solution. Airlock ensures secure access management and prevents attacks on APIs and web applications. In addition to IAM and application protection, we deal with topics such as self-sovereign identities, machine learning, Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code.

What you can achieve with usAirlock Anomaly Shield is a service from Airlock Secure Access Hub for detecting web attacks and other unwanted data traffic. The service uses models and statistical methods from the field of unsupervised machine learning to detect anomalies in HTTP traffic. To further develop this service, we are looking for an intern with initial experience in software engineering and machine learning.
- Applied research in machine learning and web attack detection
- Idea development and validation of concepts with test data and proof of concept
- Creation and further development of ML features and models in Python
- Implementation of the proof of concepts in the product (Python and C++)
- You learn from experienced engineers in this field
- Completed Bachelor's degree in computer science or comparable course of study
- Desire to complete a 6- to 12-month internship in a gap year or to work as a working student alongside the Master's degree - preferably with a focus on software development, security or data science
- First experience in data science and software development
- Very good analytical skills and rapid familiarization with complex systems
- Experience with Linux environments is an advantage
