Background:


Cloud Infrastructure Solution Architect will support the adoption of Google and Azure Cloud based IT landscapes within EL organization by providing related cloud related architecture vision and direction to the application and business teams ensuring technical and commercial viability of the cloud related initiatives.
In parallel the cloud solution architect will contribute internally within EL IS Infrastructure Architecture community on the topics of architecture standardization, security, compliance, automation, service continuity and cost optimization across cloud platforms and related technologies contributing to the overall EL business strategy and goals.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Provide the holistic view of the Google and Azure Cloud platform architecture solution and drive adoption of cloud technologies by implementing cloud based solutions in support to business and IS projects within EL.
  • Support the EL Infrastructure and other teams by ensuring technical consistency, suitability, sustainability and cost effectiveness of cloud based solutions
  • Ensure consistency and alignment across the EL multi-region business to enable one cohesive strategic plan for the delivery and optimization of long and short-term cloud based solutions to enable continual business growth.
  • Continuous development and optimization of the Google and Azure infrastructure architecture and supporting the adoption of cloud based IT solutions within Electrification and its Operating Companies together with the fellow cloud architects in regions
  • Identify, collect and develop EL wide cloud standards in collaboration with local EL IS delivery teams, fellow architects and partner vendors.
  • Drives the initiatives related to evaluating, testing and adoption of cloud native services and solutions at scale.
  • Works with internal and external partners to accelerate the implementation of automation around cloud infrastructure and related processes accelerating infrastructure delivery process and supporting the implementation of the new DevOps based service model.
  • Support definition and maintain the architectural roadmaps for cloud platforms and related cloud native technologies used within EL.
  • Support the business and IT projects by providing technical knowledge and in-sights around cloud ensuring project technical and commercial viability as well as successful deployment.
  • Supports delivery organization to identify areas of improvements regarding cloud technology, performance, service continuity, cost etc.
  • Ensures technology compatibility with existing solutions, infrastructure, services, and strategic direction
