Site Manager – Turbomachinery Turnarounds

Job Information
The Site Manager – Turbomachinery Turnarounds will provide after sales services at customer sites. The AST Site Manager
– Turbomachinery Turnarounds is responsible for leading and managing the on-site activities of multi-equipment
turnarounds of critical rotating equipment at customer's sites in the Oil & Gas and Energy Industry. This role will work
together with the Field Operations Team and report to the Field Service Manager. The Site Manager – Turbomachinery
Turnarounds is called to:
Be the main interlocutor to the customer during the preparation, execution and close-out of the assigned project.
Lead the planning and preparation of turnaround projects, working together with the Field Operations team.
Support on the alignment of sub-contracted services and logistics, as part of the project preparation.
Lead the briefing and de-briefing of the Field Service personnel assigned to the project.
Lead and manage the on-site daily interaction with AST personnel and sub-contractors.
Track and report project progress and costs, including handling of variation orders and re-work claims.
Lead the project close-out activities, both internal and external.
Promote the development and implementation of best practices and lessons learned.
Support on field service assignments, as Service Engineer, based on business requirements and upon agreement with
the Service Manager.
Education / Experience
For this position, you will have at least 08 years of field service experience in the servicing of critical rotating equipment or
03 years in a similar role on field services in rotating equipment, preferably gained with an OEM, or an independent service
provider in the Oil & Gas, or Energy Industry. Ideally, you have a technical apprenticeship amended with a bachelor's degree
in mechanical engineering (or equivalent technical qualification).

Special Requirements
Resident in EU or Switzerland, with CH or EU passport Willingness to travel (international, short and long-term
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills and the assignments), approx days worldwide
ability to lead and manage a team Relevant professional experience in the Oil, Gas and
Customer and service focused attitude Energy sector
Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently Ability to read and understand technical drawings and
Honest and loyal (long term employment expected) documents as well as to write technical reports
Good skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) Mechanical aptitude and skills
Fluent language skills in English, spoken and written Consciousness for safety at work
Fluency on French and/or Spanish language is a plus
