INTERNSHIP ROLE

We are looking for a Product Merchandising Intern to join The North Face within VF EMEA Internship Program.

KEY INTERNSHIP INFO

  • Start date: October 1st 2024.
  • For the first 6 months your salary will be 1600chf/month, while for the following 6 months it is 1900chf/month.
  • We cannot grant that internship will lead you to the permanent position, but thanks to the effective training 70% of interns are staying in the company after the internship period

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

  • Clear understanding of GTM process from seasonal concept through product creation to product in market
  • Insight into product merchandising process from brief through development, validation & production.
  • Visibility and management of cross functional communication with key stakeholders from product, brand & sales.

Long term successes/value you will add:

  • Help to deliver on our 'Undisputed Outdoor Innovation Leader' initiative by improving the quality of our product & merchandising execution.
  • Streamline information end to end to ensure that internal stakeholders are provided with correct information about projects to better-inform the whole process.
  • Enable better visibility on overall results of EU managed projects and deeper scrutiny of merchandising overall process.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • You will have a student status while beginning an internship or you have already graduated before in 2024 – it's a must.
  • You are fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • You have curious mindset with passion for working with people.
  • You are eager to learn and face up new challenges.
  • First experience such as other internships, extracurricular activities, is considered as a plus.
