How to create added value

As a DevOps Consultant, you advise well-known customers on IT topics. DevOps and automation are your main focus. Your main tasks are:

  • Develop and implement DevOps and DevSecOps strategies by developing architectural concepts and processes to increase security and efficiency.
  • Conduct architecture reviews, assessments and workshops to analyze and improve system architectures.
  • Automate the infrastructure by using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for provisioning and managing resources, can also be HandsOn for a certain period of time (POCs/MVP).
  • Implement and monitor networks with IaC, develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure optimal performance, security and rapid deployments.
  • Automate processes by developing scripts for recurring tasks and optimize network backend systems and interfaces.

This makes you the ideal candidate
  • You have a higher education in IT systems engineering and/or application development.
  • You are familiar with DevOps principles and their practical implementation.
  • You are familiar with network technologies and protocols and can design and manage network infrastructures.
  • You are proficient in Python and have experience in automation.
  • You are familiar with container technologies, have experience with GitLab for pipeline optimization and ideally experience with complex, object-oriented code structures.
  • You are methodically versed in project management and agile frameworks.
  • You are characterized by independence, the ability to work in a team and structure and you value creativity, communication and continuous development.
  • You speak fluent German and have very good English skills.

In addition to your customers' offices, your home office and coworking spaces in Bern, you can use the atrete home base in the city of Zurich in the immediate vicinity of the lake. Here you will have a modern office with a conference room, focus rooms, gondola, cafeteria and a "Töggelichaschte" as well as shower facilities.

Homebase

Every two weeks you meet the whole team on Monday morning in the office in Zurich to exchange know-how and experiences. We discuss business development, report on current projects and successes and also invite external companies to report on the latest trends.
