SMA is an independent consulting and software company for railway systems. Founded in Zurich in 1987, SMA und Partner AG now has around 85 employees. In addition to its headquarters in Zurich, SMA has other locations in Lausanne, Frankfurt and Paris. In the software area, the focus is on the Viriato and ZLR platforms, which support all aspects of railway system planning.

Would you like to gain experience in software development? As a working student, you will be involved in the Scrum team and work on product development projects and research projects. You will be supported by experienced employees.
In this position you will acquire many important skills that are needed for professional software development: clean code, modularization, domain driven design, an extensive test and build system and work in a dedicated software engineering team. We use a modern technology stack and program in C#/.NET.

Your tasks

  • Help shape product development as a team
  • Participation in research and product development projects
  • Modern architecture based on C#/.NET, WPF, Oracle
  • Continuous integration with Jenkins test automation

your profile

  • You are studying computer science at ETH, university or technical college
  • Enjoy software development - from specification to implementation
