EMAD Finance Controller

We are seeking a highly motivated Finance Controller to join our dynamic EMAD (European, Mediterranean and African Distributors) team. This position will start as a temporary role for 12 months with the high potential to transition into a permanent role. Your mission will be to support the EMAD Finance Director in budgeting, financial monitoring and business partnering, providing quantitative and qualitative insights to help business decision making. As a finance controller in this team, you will be exposed to various stakeholders (Commercial. Marketing, Retail), diverse portfolio management, multiple geographies & currencies and will have the opportunity to impact the business.
You will report to the EMAD Finance Director.
What you'll get to do- Prepare the weekly sales estimate with analysis of main variations vs budget and previous year.
- Assist the Finance Director in the generation of monthly financial reporting – including global P&L, P&L per client and per brand, Advertising & Promotional costs, Fixed costs, main financial indicators, other reports –within Company's deadlines.
- Contribute to ensuring the accuracy and exhaustiveness of financial records and proper documentation support in line with local legal requirements, company's processes and procedures.
- Provide support on invoice codification, reinvoicing costs to distributors and provision management.
- Contribute to the Budgeting and Forecasting processes for P&L, ensuring its coherence, accuracy and submission through Company's data entry tools within fixed deadlines.
- Provide assistance to other departments and to the GM by analyzing financial performance, conducting business reviews, identifying risks and opportunities to maximize the P&L and suggest corrective actions when necessary.
- Perform Ad hoc analysis when required.
- Identify opportunities to improve tools and reporting to provide meaningful financial insights to the other team members.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or equivalent.
- A minimum of 3 years proven experience in controlling and financial analysis, preferably in cosmetics, luxury or in consumer goods industry.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Good interpersonal skills, able to build rapport at all levels.
- Fluency in English is compulsory, French and/or Spanish is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, SAP/BW experience being a strong plus.
