Cognizant has an exciting opportunity for a skilled and collaborative Technical Lead in Mainframe Development to join our inclusive and welcoming team in Winterthur, Switzerland. This full-time Technical Lead hybrid role offers an attractive salary and benefits package, along with the opportunity to be part of a positive and diverse workplace culture.

As Technical Lead, you will deliver changes per the requirements provided by the business teams. You will also come up with technical solutions, manage the team for developing and testing the solution, and coordinate with biz/ops and other technology teams wherever required.

Some of your primary duties as Technical Lead will include:

· Performing the system analysis of the AS-IS system and helping define the requirements for the migration aspects

· Perform coordination with the different teams

· Create the integration strategy with Mainframe and other technologies and applications

To apply for this Technical Lead_ Mainframe Developer role, your soft skills, expertise, and experience should include:

· At least 5+ years of experience in CICS or IMS, COBOL, PLI, DB2 & JCL Skills along with CAGEN

· At least 5+ years of experience in software development life cycle: independently design, build and deploy major technical changes

· At least 5+ years of experience in translating functional/non-functional requirements to system requirements.

· Should be able to perform the system analysis of the AS-IS system and help in defining the requirements for the migration aspects.

· Should be able to perform the co-ordination with the different teams and create the integration strategy with Mainframe and other technology / applications.

· Should be open to adapt the skill CAGEN COBOL (Training will be given) and able to perform the analysis of the applications in this technology.

· Experience and understanding of in Production support and performance engineering.

· Ability to work in team environment and client interfacing skills.

· Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

· Analytical skills for documenting the system architecture

· Fluent German and English
