Test Engineer
Location: Adliswil, Switzerland
Position Type: Full-Time

Role OverviewAs a Test Engineer, you will be at the forefront of ensuring our products meet the highest standards. You will conduct rigorous testing to determine product characteristics, ensuring they align with specified requirements. Your role will also involve maintaining safety standards, meeting KPI targets, and keeping your workspace organized and efficient.
Key Responsibilities:- Product Testing: Perform static, endurance, and fatigue testing on our products and those of our competitors, generating detailed reports and suggesting improvements.
- Dynamic Characterization: Utilize advanced testing equipment to conduct dynamic tests.
- Fixture and Equipment Design: Collaborate with design departments to create testing fixtures and equipment.
- Data Maintenance: Accurately record test results and ensure compliance with departmental standards.
- Customer Returns: Evaluate and report on returned products to identify and resolve issues.
- Equipment Development: Innovate and enhance product testing equipment.
- Calibration and Maintenance: Calibrate testing equipment and assist with general maintenance tasks.
- Background: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience: Ideally, experience in a testing environment.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous and systematic approach to evaluating work.
- Independence: Ability to work unsupervised while also being an effective team member.
- Technical Skills: Strong mechanical engineering skills and computer literacy.
- Problem Solving: Ability to investigate and propose new solutions.
- Languages: Full proficiency in English and German (verbal and written)
- Manufacturing: Collaborate to ensure product standards.
- Technical: Work with technical teams to refine product specifications.
- Product Engineering: Engage with engineers to improve product designs.
- Quality: Ensure all testing meets our quality standards.
- Occasional Travel: Up to 15 days per year, this may include overseas visits.
- Self-Motivated: Capable of working independently and meeting deadlines.
- Flexible: Adaptable to varying work content and conditions.
- Team-Oriented: Strong ability to work collaboratively within a team.
