We are currently looking for a Safety Engineer for one of our clients based in Switzerland.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting safety assessments for avionics, software-intensive or mechanical systems.
  • Defining, validating, and verifying safety requirements.
  • Conducting risk assessments to support continued airworthiness.
  • Creation of safety classification of engineering changes.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in conducting Safety Assessments in accordance with SAE ARP 4761, including Functional Hazard Assessments (FHA), System Safety.
  • Fault Tree Analysis and Common Mode Analysis.
  • Hands-on experience utilizing SAE ARP 4754A standards for the development of civil aircraft and systems.
  • Very good written and verbal English skills (C1).
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks effectively and adaptability in approaching challenges, with a capacity to work independently and proactively.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, fostering effective collaboration within the company and with external stakeholders.
  • Ability to balance analytical rigor with consensus-building among multiple stakeholders, while ensuring alignment with safety objectives.
