Financial Accountant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Financial Accountant for 9-12 months, covering a maternity leave. Join a dynamic finance department and be involved in managing a variety of financial activities.
Client Details
Our client is an independent investment boutique located in the heart of Zug. They are looking for a trustworthy individual with a deep knowledge of accounting and reporting standards.
Description
- Oversee daily financial operations and manage accounts for multiple legal entities
- Maintain accounts receivable and payable
- Record monthly accrual adjustments
- Prepare cash flow and financial statements
- Compile annual financial statements (according to Swiss Code of Obligation) and coordinate audit preparations
- Generate and submit VAT returns, tax at source statements, and tax returns
- Manage monthly payroll (incl. social security processes and annual wage declaration)
- Close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. CFO, auditors, tax authorities, ...)
Profile
- Commercial education or a degree in finance
- At least four years of experience in a similar position, experience in financial services industry is of advantage
- Knowledge of Swiss Code of Obligation
- Proficient in Abacus and MS Office package
- Fluent in English, German is a Plus
- Reliable, precise and structured working approach with a high quality standard
- Excellent collaborator with an independent working style
