MES Engineer/ Syncade

Responsibilities

  • Primarily lead MES/PCS recipe design and authoring by following best practices
  • Directly support operations with troubleshooting and issue resolution with respect to automated recipes
  • Participate in validation activities in conjunction with Validation, Manufacturing, MS&T, and QA related to implementation and on-going support.
  • Monitoring and changing recipes (under change control) during the start-up, qualification and production phase and participating in risk and process deviation analyzes.
  • Ensuring the cGMP-compliant documentation (eMBR; SOP; operating regulations, etc.) in cooperation with the Bioprocess engineer, Plant Lead and with MSAT.
  • Constantly improving procedures and processes in compliance with the safety, hygiene, environmental and quality requirements in the area of responsibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, or technology field with a mindset towards programming.
  • 5+ years' experience designing, configuring, and implementing Manufacturing Execution Systems.
  • Expertise in the area of Bioprocess Automation (OT, DeltaV, MES Syncade).
  • Experience in a cGMP facility or working with FDA regulations.
  • Structured, focused and well organized work ethic. Solution orientated and Open-minded for new ideas.
  • Computer System Validation (CSV) experience supporting a biotech environment
  • Ability to communicate internally and externally at higher levels; strong business understanding and strong team orientation.
  • Fluency in English, German will be considered as an advantage.
