In order to strengthen our Regulatory Affairs team in the Perfumes Department based in Neuchâtel, we are recruiting a talented

Regulatory Affairs Associate Manager

Reporting to our Regulatory Affairs & Product Safety Manager, you ensure product compliance with all applicable regulations and laws where the company markets its creations (cosmetic and non-cosmetic products).

Accountabilities

In this role, you lead the regulatory evaluation and approval process for raw materials used in cosmetic formulations. You collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to gather necessary regulatory, technical, and safety data to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards.

As the key regulatory contact for non-cosmetic products (textiles, candles...), you ensure compliance of new and existing non-cosmetic products with enforced worldwide regulations and standards. You keep track of the ever-changing legislation in all the regions where these products are distributed and coordinate required actions, as well as intra- or inter-departmental activities, to successfully manage compliance with any new regulation. You also prepare, validate and provide the registration files set up in full compliance with export markets' regulatory requirements.

Finally, in collaboration with in-house experts, you participate in the creation of compliant packaging, paying particular attention to ensuring that all products (cosmetic and non-cosmetic products) comply with regulatory requirements regarding labelling (list of ingredients, warnings, claims, etc.).

Holding a degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field, you have at least 3 years of experience in the cosmetic or chemical industry. Your expertise in Regulatory Affairs and your knowledge of worldwide cosmetic laws and relevant chemical regulations (REACH, CLP, etc.) are significant. Your solid understanding of the homologation process for raw materials and your knowledge of worldwide labelling will help you in this position.

Detail-oriented and organized, you can manage multiple activities at once and lead various operational files in parallel to accomplish your goals while maintaining a global vision of the projects. Autonomous and rigorous, you are able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. Thanks to your excellent communication skills, you enjoy working in a multicultural environment and are a good team player.

Fluent in French and English, you are comfortable using a range of computer tools to effectively manage your daily responsibilities.
