Mathematics Teacher

Haut-Lac International Bilingual School, located near Vevey (Vaud), Switzerland, is seeking applications from enthusiastic Mathematics teachers. The school, accommodating around 650 students (K-12) with 300 students in the Secondary School, invites qualified candidates to join the team from mid-August 2024.

We are looking for educators who not only excel in Mathematics but also have a keen interest in engaging students through extra-curricular activities. Experience in teaching IB programmes in international schools is desirable.

Your Profile:

Mother tongue English or equivalent fluency.

Working knowledge of French is desired; the ability to teach Mathematics in French is advantageous.

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or an equivalent title.

PGCE in Secondary Mathematics or an equivalent Secondary school teaching certificate.

Proficiency in educational technological tools (iPad, graphing calculators, etc.).

Teaching experience in the MYP and DP programmes is advantageous.

Passionate about education.

Preferred experience in a pastoral role.
