As part of this position as LEAD BILLING / ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLES, you will be responsible for managing the billing processes and accounts receivable. You will play a key role in the LIFE SCIENCES sector, ensuring effective financial management and overseeing billing/accounts receivables 100% ASAP. Our client is a medium-sized company operating in the LIFE SCIENCES sector. The company focuses on and continues its accounting and financial processes.
Responsibilities
As LEAD BILLING / ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLES, you will have the following responsibilities:- Management of AR and accounts: - Managing the processes of billing and accounts: issuing invoices, collections, and reviewing doubtful accounts.- Ensuring compliance with Swiss health tariffs and rules as well as monitoring the KPIs (DSO, recovery rate) and implementing corrective actions.- Mentoring and developing the AR team, by setting clear objectives, ensuring performance management, and development in collaboration with the accounting department to guarantee timely monthly closings.- Updating on tariff & regulatory updates: - Managing changes related to TARDOC and updates to hospital tariffs.- Ensuring alignment with LCA (VVG) and other frameworks & ongoing processes: - Designing, implementing, and stabilizing SSC processes for billing and accounts, promoting efficiency.- Overseeing new acquisitions within the team and processes by ensuring a smooth transition and alignment of systems deploying and standardizing processes across systems (ERP: Navision / Opale).
Profile
As a LEAD BILLING / ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLES, you have the following profile:- A commercial background complemented by ongoing training in finance and accounting (e.g. professional certificate or equivalent).- A solid understanding of Swiss health tariffs (TARDOC, DRG, LCA/VVG) and associated regulations.- Experience with ERP systems, particularly Opale; knowledge of X? Plore and Axenita is a plus.- Proficiency in French C1, German B2, and English.- 5 to 7 years of professional experience in accounts receivable and ideally in the health sector.- Proven experience in managing complex payer structures and health tariffs.- Experience in Shared Service Centre (SSC) environments and demonstrated capabilities in leading post-M&A projects and implementing standardized processes.- Previous experience in managing and developing teams.
