MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

  • As a qualified Economics teacher, you will be required to teach at various grade levels in Middle and High School. You will engage and motivate students, regardless of their abilities during onetoone lessons after school.
  • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Giving private revision and support lessons catering to student needs and areas requiring reinforcement
  • Followup on topics and skills with class teacher for each student
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Qualified Economics Teacher:

  • Experience in teaching to different levels
  • Experience in teaching IB Students is an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, particularly with students.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Languages required: English. French is an asset.
  • CONDITIONS
  • Extracurricular courses take place after 4 pm., on site.
  • It is important that you are always aware of Child Protection guidelines and observe a professional distance from students whilst developing effective working and caring relationships. You understand and embrace the importance of diversity and inclusion and stand against discrimination. Background investigations and reference checks for the past ten years will be conducted during the selection process.
