Total Rewards Expert Switzerland & Country Cluster SEE M/F/d

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure Total Rewards (TR) coordination, governance and implementation within the country cluster on the wide range of Total Rewards policies, processes and expertise delivery
  • Act as linking pin between the Regional Coordinator and the local HR communities in the country cluster for TR topics.
  • Act as first point of contact for TR related topics within the country cluster.
  • Within the country cluster incumbent supports the local management in the resolution of local TR issues, in the interaction with appropriate employee representatives and collaborates with HRBPs and local HR operations as appropriate and necessary to assure a sound local HR service delivery.
  • Lead or contribute in projects related to the Total Rewards field.
  • Upon request: support of Divisional TR in Bayer Group Leadership Circle matters regarding local TR specifics.

Main tasks

  • This role provides ongoing Total Rewards expertise, guidance and support to the local HR communities in the country cluster. The activity split between Switzerland and remaing countries is approximatively 60% Switzerland / 40% SEE.
  • Job holder oversees market trends & future developments in TR area in the country cluster, combined with internal data & analytics to come up with (actionable) recommendations/solutions to ensure a competitive TR proposition in the country cluster and position Bayer as an employer of choice across all generations.
  • Job holder is familiar both with Bayer standard relevant TR processes and the local needs, demands and specificities.
  • Role is responsible to design country cluster TR policies and coordinate local TR schemes and procedures.
  • Implement, coordinate and govern all country cluster compensation and benefit policies and processes, both local and global, to ensure a market competitive remuneration package based on business needs.
  • Track constantly feedback out of the business regarding the relevant given field of expertise and make process optimization/improvement proposals to HR solutions and HR innovation teams. Constantly track industry and HR legislative trends in the countries and business needs and instigate and lead initiatives to adopt policies and standards to changing needs.
  • Design out job evaluation (Hay methodology nonmanagerial levels) in Switzerland in alignment with HROPs
  • Analyse, understand & oversee the Total Rewards landscape in the country clusters.
  • Coordinate the retirement benefits plans in the countries actively (eg Swiss Pensionskasse).
  • Ensure relationship with external insurances/brookers in aligment with the country HR BPs
  • Contribute to Performance, Rewards and Organization Culture (PRO) projects and programs or lead parts of PRO projects and programs.
  • Act as focal point for internal HR audits regarding Total rewards topics and appropriate local regulatory authorities within the country cluster.
  • Support M&A processes and steer harmonization of Total Rewards plans & procedures.
  • Drive agile ways of working in his/her area of responsibility.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Strong and proven TR knowledge as well as project
- & change management skills, with understanding of the competitive and future-looking landscape in her/his field.

  • Knowledge of labor and tax law of referring countries
  • Knowledge of pension schemes of referring countries
  • Languages: Fluent in English, German is a plus
  • Successfully dealing with ambiguity & complexity to deliver results in projects with crossfunctional & multicultural teams.
  • Demonstrating strong collaborative skills and behavior: connecting, cocreating, inspiring, driving and engaging others
  • Strong stakeholder management experience
  • Strong communication & messaging skills within a multicultural context
