Job Description

As a Compliance Officer, you will play a crucial role in our Compliance Department, specifically in the Reviews & Quality Control Team. This team is expanding, and we are keen on adding professionals with diverse levels of experience to our group. Your primary responsibilities will involve:

  • Examining key clients (including private clients, companies, institutional clients, external asset managers, introducing brokers) from the perspective of Anti-Money Laundering/Counter-Terrorist Financing regulations
  • Conducting thorough due diligence assessments
  • Preparing comprehensive compliance evaluations
  • Offering guidance and support to both the front office staff and the management team

Additionally, depending on your experience level, you may be tasked with:

  • Supporting the Manager in daily operations, such as addressing queries, reviewing team members' work, and setting a high standard for work quality and professionalism
  • Acting as the primary contact person for complex cases
  • Enhancing internal processes by refining guidelines and procedures
Qualifications
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Law, Economics, International Relations, Political Science, or a related field (possessing a Certificate in Compliance Management will be highly advantageous)
  • 3-7 years of experience in financial services compliance (prior involvement in periodic reviews will be beneficial)
  • Familiarity with the legal framework in Switzerland
  • Proficient in English and French (proficiency in German is a plus)
  • Strong analytical and methodical skills
  • Demonstrate a structured and professional work ethic
  • Interest in and exposure to data analysis, including proficiency in Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Enjoy collaborating in a diverse, dynamic, and international setting that embraces technology
