The research group of Timm Maier is looking for a Computational Chemist.

Main focus of the research is to understand the structure and function of large regulatory assemblies, such as the mammalian target-of-rapamycin (mTOR) complex.

This position is linked to a translational project to discover and develop small molecule inhibitors for novel therapies.

Your position

  • Molecular modeling and docking
  • Structure
- and ligand-based drug design

  • Virtual screening
  • Communication with Contract Research Organizations CROs and Medicinal Chemistry collaborators

Your profile

  • You have a Ph.
D. in Computational Chemistry or related field with a strong background in Computer Aided Drug Design (CADD)

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary, collaborative team
