The Role

We are searching for a highly skilled and motivated intern to join our design team for either a master's thesis or a 4-to-6-month internship. You are encouraged to pursue a combination of both (6-month internship + master's thesis). As an intern, you will play a key role in developing the automation flow for generating MCU subsystems used in a wide range of products, creating digital components for these systems, and getting the chance to build and verify your own MCU subsystem on FPGA.

  • Motivation Letter (recommended)

What You'll Do

  • Contribute to the development of automation flow for generating MCU subsystems using Python
  • Develop digital components for MCU subsystems using SystemVerilog
  • Create MCU subsystems and verify them on FPGA using Xilinx Vivado and embedded C/C++

What You'll Need

To qualify for this internship, you must be a current student enrolled in an accredited degree program. This position seeks candidates enrolled in a Master's or doctoral program in Electrical Engineering or a related field with a focus on FPGA/chip level circuit design.

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with coursework on digital circuit design
  • Knowledge of Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL for digital design (RTL)
  • Practical experience with Python, including class-based programming
  • Proficiency in C/C++
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively
