Automation Test Engineer:We are in need of an Automation Test Engineer with the core responsibility of designing, implementing, and managing test scenarios and tools to maintain the highest quality assurance standards across an extensive range of automation products.The preferred location for this role is in Frauenfeld, Switzerland.

Your role and responsibilitiesAs an Automation Test Engineer, your tasks will involve:
- Testing engine prototype functions on simulators, focusing on functionality and user interface.

- Testing engine software to replicate reported issues and conducting detailed RCAs.

- Reviewing test documentation for accuracy and clarity, providing feedback for enhancement.
- Collaborating closely with Engine Control System software developers.
- Creating custom test benches from both software and hardware perspectives when necessary. Developing and maintaining testing tools are part of the regular duties.
- Documenting the conducted activities.
- Tasks may be tailored based on your skills and interests. You will be part of an automation and control team with diverse expertise.
Requirements for this position:
- Master's degree in automation, electrical engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in testing and validation activities.
- Driven to elevate prototype code to production-level quality.
- Proficient in RCA.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to producing code of production quality.
- Strong reporting abilities.
- Willingness to travel (15% of working time).
- Fluent in English.
As a preferred candidate, you may also possess:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in LabVIEW (Real Time/FPGA).
- Skills in MATLAB/Simulink tools.
- Knowledge of PLC programming.
- Proficiency in the German language is a plus.
